June is my favorite month of the year in San Diego. To me, it’s better than Christmas. It’s the last month before the weather gets unbearably hot and it’s perfect for growing.
I get giddy when I go to the farmer’s market because of the abundance of produce. It’s hard to resist the fruit, as it’s so sweet when it’s fresh and ripe at the peak of the season. If you’re anything like me you’ll be using up blueberries, nectarines, plums and cucumbers this month.
